Khaosan Road Bangkok (Thailand)

Khaosan Road is not only Bangkok’s, but one of Thailand’s most popular and at the same time still the most affordable streets. Khao San Road, Bangkok’s rice market, which is now the home of backpacker travelers, is located in Bangkok’s old town, about 20 years ago.

Around Khaosan Road, there are hotels, bars and restaurants, souvenir shops, art galleries, tattoos and massage parlors, as well as a number of low-and mid-budget hotels and guest houses.

There are many mobile vendors on the street. Fresh tropical fruits, noodles made with fresh soybean sprouts called “pad thai” and countertops selling meat grills in the form of garbage skewers appear almost everywhere on the street.

There is no Skytrain or subway station on Khao San Road. Transportation in Thailand is considered cheap. Taxi, tuktuk or motorcycle drivers can be used when needed. When taximeters are used in taxis, there is no need to negotiate in advance. It is useful to check whether you have a trip on board. However, in general, taxi drivers do not want to open taximeters.

If a tuktuk or motorbike is to be used, it is absolutely necessary to negotiate in advance according to the destination. It’s hard to tell where you’re going to drive. Even when you show them by typing, they are in trouble, almost never speak and understand English.

Located in the heart of the old city Rattanakosin, with its palaces and temples in the shape of a circle, Khaosan Road is within walking distance of the important palace, temple and museum district.

WHAT TO DO IN KHAOSAN ROAD?

It is possible to party in the street by taking beer from Seven Eleven. However, after 10 o’clock in the evening, alcohol is not usually sold in Seven Eleven.

Khaosaon road really rocks!! It is very strange to have a catalog in the middle of the street in the case of fake identity. What you want to do.

In this backpacker paradise, dj sets are brought in front of some shops that close after 12 pm and dance festivals begin to take place. and zillions of people from different nationalities are packed together in the street. part together!

Buckets like rucksack or vodka cocktails are sold in buckets similar to small beach buckets, buckets with three five buckets because they share pcs.

I stayed two or three nights in khaosan road, but I can not forget the dreamy night atmosphere.

As I mentioned, it is a non-life street that lasts up to sadness. The sound of music is diminished at night 2, the streets slowly begin to calm down as at 3. But this khaosan road does not change the fact that it is the most beautiful place in bangkok.

If you want to get away from the crowds of the khaosan road, you can go to the second street from the 999 west bar and hang out for a long time at my darling restaurant.

Make sure you put a vodka you know inside the bucket, you can go to the combo with high alcohol local vodka.

If you want to listen to good music, you can have a roof bar upstairs on the right side of the crowded street upstairs. You can brew there until 12, if you go early you can grab the table from the side facing the road.

Khaosan is great for foreigners in bangkok, especially backpacks. A street where you can see people from all nations. The price of the service or the products sold on the street is very affordable to other tourist areas. South East Asia is even known as the backbone of the backward cantalines of the world.

A place where every tourist shop, restaurant, cafe is located. if you are coming to the place alone , you have to think about places to stay. You will probably meet very different people from very different countries. There is also such a known misinformation about this place: the bugs are not sold at every corner in bangkok. (Except for the sea lions, , lobster, shrimp etc.

you can get fried banana. There are fruit juices from freshly squeezed tropical fruits at very reasonable prices. You should definitely try. I also made mixed tropical juice . Tasty.. On the main street there are places selling fresh juicy tropical fruits and water.

And the famous backpacker ghetto in bangkok. There are people in every offer such as ping pong, sex, narcotics standing on the streets of ladyboys in the streets, where lagoon rats are hanging around their livelihoods (guide in khaosan street) and everybody is selling food or clothing at every square meter. Leisure venues are throats and drunken tourists who have foot, leg massage in the bed settled right next to us in chiro style, like on holiday or in common. When the anticipating travelers were meeting, they met a tourist area, a neighborhood where thai who were trying to get a few hundred baht more money from them. Of course, may ultimately be the subject of pleasure; But the purpose of your trip is to see the cultures where you go, to eat with local people, to drink, to live like them is 100% wrong address khaosan road to your knowledge.

Eat only Pat thai pork- chiken-egg (advice). do not stay above 300 baht. (Advice,) go for 7 eleven to 37 baht for beer (constantly) Meet the new people at the roof bar, central statue, at the bazaar and go out with the travelers. The tuk-tuks are actually too cheap. Do not fall into ping pong shows. You have not spent your money. Massage is normally 150-200 baht but there is 250. The place is beautiful. Keep your money in different places.

I was in khoasan road for two days, new spaces open in the middle, near to khoasan club and lucky beer in the middle, it was quite crowded. As always, young people are having fun. If you come to your 30s, you may feel old, but you have to come to places in bangkok that you absolutely must see.

You can go to a parallel street, the soi rambutri, if you are looking for a khoasan but less crowded, less ambitious and more food alternative.

If you stay in a place near here or if you want to hear the beautiful music from the crowd, I would definitely recommend there is a jazz bar called brown sugar in a distance of several hundred meters.
